I am constantly filling and packing water bottles and sports bottles for my 7-year-old’s soccer practices and games, not to mention trips to the park and other outings, so I was intrigued to test out a new unique ”anti-water bottle” design called the Vapur bottle. It’s lightweight and flexible and is almost like a portable pouch. It stands upright when full…it holds 16 oz. of water…but can be rolled, folded, or flattened when empty, making it easy to toss into a backpack or lunch box. It also has a sturdy clip so you can snap it on to your child’s backpack or sports bag. My girls like to call our Vapur the squeezy bottle.

Another added bonus is the Vapur has a spot on the front for adding your child’s name, which we all know is critical, especially if you’ve seen the lost and found mountain at my daughter’s elementary school.
So I’ve mentioned the pros, here is the main con: I am really used to a water bottle. My SUV has drink holders in the front for the driver and passenger seated in front and there are also drink holders in the back. Becuase it’s more like a “pouch,” the Vapur will not work in those type drink holders (many strollers have them, too.)
The Vapur comes in blue, pink, and green and retails for $8.95, although you can currently buy a family four-pack for $29.95. It’s durable, dishwasher safe (hurrah,) freezable, and BPA-free. It would make a great water bottle for your child’s lunches and school field trips or for your family hiker.
You can also feel good about buying your water bottles from Vapur because as a member of 1% For the Planet, Vapur is donating a portion of all sales to water related environmental causes. 1% For the Planet is an alliance of businesses that donate at least 1% of their annual revenues to environmental organizations worldwide.
