I’m especially partial to products developed by other moms. Christy Cook, the founder of Teach My Toddler, developed the learning system after she became frustrated when searching for a comprehensive educational system for her son to master his ABCs, numbers, shapes, and colors. She couldn’t find a comparable system on the market, so she decided to develop her own.
Designed for children ages 1 to 3, the toddler tote is portable and easy to store. It doesn’t take up much space and looks similar to an expandable file system. It is the first all-in-one learning system for toddlers and includes four sections, one for teach of the basic skills. Each section includes a coordinated puzzle, board book, flash cards, and colorful teaching chart.

It also encourages one-on-one sit down on the floor interaction between children and their caregiver, be it mom, dad, a grandparent, or a babysitter.
