Both my girls love to use their imagination and create fanciful cars and other creations. They love building with blocks and I love the quiet play. We were really excited to review a 400 Pieces Tub system from K’Nex (retail value $20.99) for kids ages 7 and up thanks to Team Mom.
The 400 PCS Tub was a little difficult for my 4-year-old, but then it is recommended for children ages 7 and up. My 7-year-old loved it, although she needed my help with it. The K’Nex tub includes a handy full-color booklet with step-by-step instructions on how to build 20 different creations as well as other instructions on the K’Nex website. I love that you can also use K’nex with other building block brands such as Lego and I love the handy storage tub for all the pieces (warning…there are LOTS of tiny pieces with this set so again, it’s most appropriate for older kids.) The K’Nex value tub with 400 pieces can be found at Target, Wal-Mart and Toys R Us.
