Miranda who commented, “I love the shoe shields!” is the winner. Thanks to everyone who entered.
With one daughter about to enter 2nd grade and one enrolled in full-time daycare, I am always writing a name on something. Recently I even wrote our new daycare door lock code on my hand. Yes, I am that organized!
Applied Labels is a Tennessee-based home business started by a mom who is also a chemical engineer. Applied Labels are waterproof and laundry safe and perfect for identifying items at daycare, school, and camp such as shoes, jackets, lunch boxes, books, and sports gear, and just about any personal item (from cell phones to Leapster and Nintendo DS game systems.)

Applied Labels also offers Baby Dates, mini, single-use date labels ideal for daily bottle dating. I could have really used something like this when my daughters were infants. Applied Labels are printed on plain white labels (with several font choices to choose from) and are understated, in case you don’t want a theme or graphic on your label that your child could outgrow.
Are your kids going to camp? Applied Labels has a great free shipping special on the Ultimate and Monster Ultimate Summer Camp Label sets, which include personalized Applied Labels, Clothing Backers, and Shoe Shields.

These sound great! The bottle-dating labels would’ve been great when my little guy was that age – we had permanent name labels but it was still a hassle to change the masking tape with the date every day.
Honestly, her website is a little confusing to me. I know suggested improvements wasn’t part of the entry, but I love entrepreneurs, and maybe that’ll help. I had a little trouble figuring out what to order.
Great idea – especially with day care, play dates, and summer camps! (Heck even for my kids books so they quit fighting about whose book is whose.)
I’m not sure about favorite item…it looks like labels just vary by quantity. Website wasn’t easy to navigate but I think it was just different quantities. I would likely get a small pack for each girl since we don’t wander much farther than play dates right now…but all the sippy cups look the same!
these are awesome! I need these for each and every one of my 1,000,000,000 sippy cups!
just tweeted it out for you!
I agree with Michelle–the website is a little hard to understand. I’d love the clothing backer labels because we are always leaving a coat behind!
Yes I so need these labels for Kenzie & Kyle! Can’t ever have enough labels!
These are a great idea. I couldn’t find a lot of different products but it looks like the name labels and baby date labels would be perfect for daycare.
I also just voted for you!
I have been voting for you! And you probably just saw my post on FB. With Jackson entering kindergarten, I am sure I could use some labeling abilities – I could probably use the clothing backers most, for coats.
Because I have 2 boys 24 months apart, sometimes their clothes get put in the wrong closets after washing (Especially the matching outfits that they both have!) The clothing labels would be great for after-laundry organizing!
I also voted for Blonde Mom!!!!
those labels are a great idea! I like that they’re so strong they are considered permanent, according to the website
I like the regular applied labels with names. Perfect for my godson:)

I think the shoe labels are a great idea. I live in a small town with only a couple of places to buy kids shoes. Inevitably several children in my daughter’s class have the exact same shoes and they get mixed up. Having labels inside would help.
i like the clothing labels for school and camp for our 4 boys!
My favorite labels are the shoe shields!
I love the shoe shields. The clothing labels would really help me and my kids out too. Good luck to everyone!

I really like the baby tape labels.. perfect for sippies!!
I also just voted for you! Good luck!
I love the formula/breast milk labels as well as the clothing labels. It totally beats the brown masking tape daycare’s use! I was always afraid my child would drink someone else’s breast milk. Yuckity Yuck!
The clothing labels for Ty and Jess would be wonderful! Thanks!
The clear shoe shields are a great idea!
