The Zirkonians are coming to your living room November 3…but don’t worry, this is a “fun” alien invasion from the writer of Madagascar and Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were Rabbit.
Aliens In The Attic is being released on Blu-ray Disc and DVD November 3 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. We missed it when it was in theatres this summer, so we were looking forward to watching it. It’s a fun sit down and eat popcorn together family flick that both my 4 1/2 year old and 7-year-old loved (please note, it is rated PG.) The ninja grandma scenes featuring Doris Roberts are hilarious.
Here’s a plot synopsis of the DVD, which I’m giving away:
It’s summer vacation, but the Pearson family kids are stuck at a boring lake house with their nerdy parents. That is until feisty, little, green aliens crash-land on the roof, with plans to conquer the house AND Earth! Using only their wits, courage and video game-playing skills, the youngsters must band together to defeat the aliens and save the world — but the toughest part might be keeping the whole thing a secret from their parents! Featuring a hilarious cast including comedy veterans Doris Roberts (“Everybody Loves Raymond”), Andy Richter (“The Conan O’Brien Show”), Kevin Nealon (“Weeds”), Tim Meadows (Mean Girls) and Gillian Vigman (The Hangover), as well as rising young stars Ashley Tisdale (High School Musical), Robert Hoffman (Step Up 2: The Streets), Carter Jenkins (“Surface”) and Austin Robert Butler (“Zoey 101”), Aliens In The Attic is the most fun on the planet!
Boasting bonus features with all-new content including an introduction by Ashley Tisdale, “Behind The Zirkonians” animated short, a gag reel and more, the Aliens In The Attic Two-Disc release includes the Blu-ray (BD), DVD and Digital Copy. The Two-Disc Blu-ray (BD)/DVD Combo Pack will be available for a suggested retail price of $39.99, while the Aliens In The Attic standard DVD will be available for $29.98.
Savvy Housewife is giving away a copy of the standard Aliens in the Attic DVD. Simply leave a comment on this post about your current favorite family movie. A random winner will be chosen from all eligible comments left by midnight Saturday, November 7. (U.S. addresses only, please.)
